I’m a marine ecologist based in Reykjavík, where I’m working with the Icelandic Orca Project. My research is focused on killer whale social ecology, and in particular at the moment I’m looking at how the social structure of Icelandic killer whales might be affected by their diet and seasonal movement patterns. I’m also really interested in science communication, and how we in the scientific community can best convey our research to the general public in a way that is understandable and accessible.
