The ITOFF Project
The ITOFF project aspires to inform invasive species management by enabling the comparative study of invasive freshwater fish and the species they impact.
Our team is collecting data on the life-history traits of these invasive fish species, as well as the species they impact. We currently have data on 303 species – this includes the most prevalent invasive species globally, impacted species which are critically endangered, and impacted species which are not at risk of extinction.
However, this is only the beginning, as we hope to collate data on many more species across a range of environments and taxonomic groups.
